Innovative leader in mission

The next Dean of Norwich will be someone who can lead and nurture the worshipping community, who has a heart for the Anglican choral tradition whilst intentionally seeking out accessible styles of worship and ways of being Church. They will be able to build on the Cathedral’s platform of innovation in proclaiming the Gospel, working in partnership and equipping other churches in the Diocese in mission.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Building partnerships

The new Dean will have a gift for developing partnerships and be at ease in the public square. Norwich Cathedral has an excellent platform of partnerships and relationships, and the next Dean will love community engagement, using the Cathedral’s convening power as a force for good in the City, County and Diocese.

Prophetic edge

Social and environmental responsibility is at the heart of the life of the Cathedral. The next Dean of Norwich will drive forward the Cathedral’s commitment to embrace the social Gospel and inhabit the five Marks of Mission. The new Dean will keep the Cathedral looking outwards to find the prophetic margins and edge.
