The NCIs are truly a unique place to work, undertaking an amazing breadth of activities and attracting a diverse range of talented people across a wide variety of disciplines to serve the mission and ministry of the Church of England with their talents and skills.

We have a range of opportunities coming up within our wonderful Finance team as we are looking to build our capacity and resilience to ensure we can meet the ambitions of the NCIs, with a number of projects, programmes and initiatives underway.

As a team we’re on a transformation journey, looking to ensure that we have great people, fit-for-purpose technology and effective ways of working  to enable us to deliver a high quality finance service to support the NCIs. If you’re interested in being part of that journey, and really making a difference, we’d love to benefit from your skills and expertise!

We need to backfill some of our substantive roles on a fixed term contract basis to enable our experienced team to work directly on the Finance Transformation Programme; but we also have a number of new permanent roles across a range of Finance disciplines, from Financial planning & analysis and business partnering, to grant management, pensions accounting, financial accounting and financial control.

As a Finance professional joining our team you could be assured of fascinating, stretching role with exposure to a range of different business activities, interesting technical accounting challenges and a truly unique organisation where you will come across things that really don’t come up anywhere else!
